Alliteration Poems

Yellow
Like butter,
soft but salty.
Like a school bus, loud and smelly.
Like new straw,
sharp and select.
Like mustard, tangy and tart.
Like a lemon,
sour or sweet
beige or blond,
selective shades of saffron,
hard or soft,
sweet or sour,
loud or quiet,
yellow can cause quite a riot.

Burning Tree
Flames that lick the sky
the tree just wanted a touch
a poke or a prod
and up went the sky
an inferno in the clouds
the tree’s touch of red
surrounded by green grass
Now a rainbow
of green and red
burning its mark
into the empty empyrean

making the welkin of the world

These two poems I'm not particularly proud of. They're okay, but I don't think alliterations aren't really my bag.
